About T&D Jiu-Jítsu Academy
T&D Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Antonio, Texas was founded by Professor Thiago Dias, a 3rd-degree black belt promoted by Professor Ricardo Marques (Brazilian Top Team) in 2012, and his wife Professor Dayse Matta, also a black belt. Dias is a two-time IBJJF world medallist, two-time CBJJ Brazilian national champion and certified IBJJF referee with more than 13 years of teaching experience, and previously ran the Leoes de Juda social project teaching jiu-jitsu to underprivileged children in Juiz de Fora. The academy runs kids' classes, adult fundamentals (required for white belts), advanced classes for blue belt and above, and a separate no-gi program, and requires a T&D white gi.
