About Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Footscray
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Footscray is a Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center on Tottenham Parade in West Footscray, Melbourne, with 250 square metres of mat space. It runs the full Gracie University curriculum - Gracie Combatives for beginners (15+), Women Empowered women's self-defence, Gracie Bullyproof kids jiu-jitsu for ages 3-14 banded as Mat Munchkins, Little Champs, Jr. Grapplers, Teens and Black Belt Club, and Master Cycle technique and sparring for experienced students - plus Reflex Development and private lessons. It was founded by head instructor Gerard Smith, a brown belt with 20 years in jiu-jitsu, and every instructor is accredited through the Gracie University Instructor Certification Program.
