Inertia Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a BJJ gym in Vancouver, Washington, opened on 21 June 2018 by owner and head coach Justin Bendsneyder. Bendsneyder found jiu-jitsu in the 1990s after watching Royce Gracie's early fights, trained full time for twelve years, and received his black belt from Keisuke Andrew in May 2017. He teaches alongside Coach Tony Nicola, who began training in Colorado in 2011 under a string of coaches including Amal Easton and Leo Vieira before settling in Vancouver. The gym emphasises sparring and live drilling and offers a free first class.
