About American Judo-Hapkido Institute
The American Judo-Hapkido Institute teaches Korean and Japanese martial arts across three locations — Clairton and Waynesburg, Pennsylvania and Morgantown, West Virginia. Its arts are Hapkido, traditional Judo (affiliated with Shufu Yudansha-kai and the U.S. Judo Federation, with shiai and kata), Sinmoo Yu Sool Kwan — a Hapkido-based method infused with judo throwing reserved for Elite members — and Te-Geri, a martial-arts-based fitness programme. Classes are banded as Little Eagles (3-4), Juniors (5-11), Teens (12-17), Adults (18+) and Executive Training (40+), and every new student starts on a ten-lesson introductory programme whose first two classes are private one-on-one sessions.
