About Four Winds Martial Arts
Four Winds Martial Arts trains out of a 4,500 square foot facility at 2038 S. 114th Street in West Allis, on Milwaukee's south-west side, and has been running for nearly fifty years since Thomas Sipin founded it in the mid-1970s to combine Filipino stick and blade work with taekwondo. The school teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for teens and adults, mixed martial arts drawing on Muay Thai, boxing, Filipino martial arts, karate, taekwondo and BJJ, a kids' martial arts programme, Filipino martial arts, and the Hardened Target personal protection system covering firearms, edged, impact and improvised weapons with their legal and ethical use. Several instructors are law-enforcement professionals and the school also trains police, security and military personnel and runs CCW and firearms courses.
