About Martingilio Martial Arts

Martingilio Martial Arts in Verona, Wisconsin was established in 2004 by Shihan Christopher Martingilio, a ninth-degree black belt in Ryukyu Kempo Tode-Jitsu who teaches every class himself. The school describes itself as a school of education rather than recreation, with limited class sizes and individualised instruction: Okinawan te and Ryukyu Kempo Tode-Jitsu, Yang-style Tai Chi Chuan taught for both wellness and self-defence, Modern Arnis Filipino stick and blade work, Kyusho-Jitsu pressure point fighting, and a 90-minute Karate-Jitsu kids programme for ages 6-13. Pressure-point techniques and joint locks run through every programme. Training is also offered by Zoom, as private and corporate sessions, and through seminars, and new students begin with a pre-class interview.
