Agreement to Terms

This agreement is between you and Philipp Butzmann - RootWise Digital ("we," "our," "us"), the operator of the Rollbook mobile application.

By downloading, installing, or using Rollbook ("App" or "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License Agreement (EULA)

Your use of Rollbook is governed by:

1. These Terms of Service
2. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (for iOS): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula
3. Google Play Terms of Service (for Android)

Description of Service

Rollbook is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training journal that provides:

• Session Logging: Track your training sessions with details like duration, type, and intensity
• Technique Library: Build and organize your personal technique collection
• Belt Progression: Track your belt and stripe promotions
• Statistics & Achievements: View training streaks, stats, and unlock achievements
• Calendar View: Visualize your training history
• Cloud Sync: Synchronize data across devices (premium feature)
• Apple Health Integration: Sync workouts to Apple Health (iOS, opt-in)

Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Rollbook
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate information during registration

Account Responsibilities

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• Authorized Use: You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Account Termination: We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

• Personal, non-commercial tracking of your BJJ training
• Storing technique notes and references for personal learning

Prohibited Uses

• Using the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to interfere with or hack the App
• Sharing account credentials with others
• Using the App for commercial purposes without permission

Not Professional Advice

• Not Medical Advice: Rollbook does not provide medical, fitness, or professional training advice
• Consult Professionals: Always consult qualified instructors for technique guidance and medical professionals for health concerns
• Assumption of Risk: BJJ training carries inherent risks; you assume all responsibility for your training decisions

Calorie and Statistics Estimates

• Calorie estimates are approximations based on general BJJ training data
• Statistics are calculated from user-entered data and may not reflect actual performance
• Do not rely on these estimates for medical or dietary decisions

Subscription and Payment Terms

Service Tiers

Free Tier:

• Unlimited session logging
• Up to 100 techniques
• Up to 3 technique chains
• Basic statistics and achievements
• Local data storage

Premium Subscription:

• Unlimited techniques
• Unlimited technique chains
• Enhanced streak protection (2 grace days/week)
• Cloud sync across devices
• All future premium features

Subscription Plans

Billing Terms

• Payment Processing: Via Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled 24 hours before period end
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime via your device's subscription settings
• Refunds: Subject to Apple/Google store policies

Free Trial

• 7-day free trial for new premium subscribers
• Auto-converts to paid subscription unless cancelled
• One trial per account

Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

• App design, features, and branding are owned by RootWise Digital
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission

Your Content

• You retain ownership of your training data, notes, and technique descriptions
• You grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the Service
• You may export or delete your content at any time

Privacy

Your use of Rollbook is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

Service Availability

• Best Effort: We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• Modifications: We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Offline Access: Core features work offline; sync requires internet connection

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater
• These limitations do not apply to our gross negligence or willful misconduct

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

By You

• Delete your account anytime via Settings
• Your data will be permanently removed

By Us

• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• We will provide notice unless immediate action is required

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Munich, Germany. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Munich.
