About Championship MMA & Fitness
Championship Mixed Martial Arts (CMMA) at 1410 US Hwy 98, Suite D in Daphne, Alabama teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai to adults, teens and kids, alongside a bootcamp fitness class, a self-defense program and a dedicated competition class that walks students through tournament rules, brackets and match strategy before State, National and World events. The BJJ side lists nine instructors led by Rodney Souza, with Gerald Brandon also heading a judo program; the Muay Thai side is run as Mazu Muay Thai by Cole Stringer, a former U.S. Army Master Combatives Instructor. BJJ classes are explicitly non-striking, and the kids' and teens' classes use no full-contact striking or kicking.
