About Team Hopkins Jiu Jitsu Mobile
Team Hopkins Jiu Jitsu Mobile teaches Gracie jiu-jitsu to adults and children in Mobile, Alabama, as one of two locations run alongside a sister school in Bay Minette. Classes are led by Pat Langan, a third-degree black belt in Gracie jiu-jitsu and Team Hopkins' senior technical advisor for self-defense systems, supported by black belt Nick Thomas and purple belt Josh Spradlin. The school follows the curriculum and philosophy of the Gracie family through the Team Hopkins association, founded by Professor Allen Hopkins, who took up the art after a 1991 seminar with Rorion Gracie and then trained under Pedro Sauer in Salt Lake City; kids may start at age seven and adult classes run from 6:00am on weekdays.
