Danny Dring's Living Defense Martial Arts at 308 East Kiehl #A-4 in Sherwood, AR has operated from the same location for close to 40 years, teaching Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, MMA and Weeping Style Jujutsu to kids and adults, plus a concealed carry pistol class and a Little Dragons program for young children. Founder Master Danny Dring cross-trained in boxing, Muay Thai and BJJ long before cross-training was normal; he holds an 8th degree Taekwondo black belt, a 7th degree in Weeping Style Jujutsu, 7th degree kickboxing black belts under both "Superfoot" Bill Wallace and Joe Lewis, and a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. The staff includes BJJ black belt Tim Lafave, an Air Force veteran who cross-trained in sambo and judo, and 5th degree Taekwondo black belt Debra Holmes.
