About Manchester Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Bushido BJJ
Bushido Jiu-Jitsu Academy has been teaching in Connecticut since 1999 and runs two locations, this one at 60b Progress Drive in Manchester and a second in Hebron. It offers adult gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kids' classes split into Little Samurai (5-7) and Jr Samurai (8-13), a complete MMA programme covering striking, clinch, takedowns and transitions, open mat sessions, and the Officer Survival Series, a specialised course for law enforcement and first responders created by founder Rob Magao, a third-degree black belt and 25-year law enforcement veteran and SWAT instructor. The coaching staff runs eleven deep and is almost entirely black belts, and the first class is free.
