Studio 8 BJJ Mayport in Atlantic Beach is one of three Florida locations of Studio 8 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a Jean Jacques Machado affiliate owned by Brandon Culbreth, a BJJ and judo black belt and 20-year Navy veteran. Its lead instructor is Professor Tito Cordova, a black belt who spent eight years as Bruno Malfacine's assistant, and the school runs adult and kids gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu, a Gracie Self Defense class, boxing and open mat, with one month-to-month membership covering all three locations.
