About PROTACTX Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
PROTACTX BJJ at 200 Sterling Plaza Dr in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida is a veteran-owned academy founded by Danny Yakel, a retired US Army Special Forces veteran with over 21 years of martial arts experience, who built it to bring what the gym calls authentic Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to the area with a direct Rickson Gracie affiliation. Professor Mark Czarnecki, also a black belt, teaches alongside him. Programmes are kids' and adults' jiu-jitsu, homeschool classes, Muay Thai and women's self-defense, and the academy was named Ponte Vedra Best of the Best 2025. The first class is free.
