About Ground Domain BJJ (Formerly Jiu-Jitsu Columbus)
Jiu-Jitsu Columbus is a veteran-led academy in Columbus, Georgia teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults and kids/teens alongside Muay Thai, a wrestling programme and Kodokan judo, and it makes a point of serving military members, veterans and their families. Owner and head instructor Professor Brandon Dimick is a second-degree BJJ black belt under Professor Jason Keaton with nearly 20 years on the mats and 28 years of US Army service, who finished his amateur MMA career undefeated as a Kentucky Fighting Challenge champion. The wider staff is unusually deep for a school this size: a second BJJ black belt running the no-gi programme, a third-degree Kodokan judo black belt, and a wrestling head coach with 46 years in the sport who is an Army Combatives Level 4 instructor.
