About Sōzō Jiu-Jitsu
Sozo Jiu-Jitsu is a no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy on Chattanooga Valley Road in Flintstone, Georgia, serving the Chattanooga area and surrounding Tennessee and north Georgia. The name comes from the Japanese word for creation. Owner and head coach Brennen Collier is a BJJ brown belt who earned his rank at Gracie Bradenton in Florida and now trains with 10th Planet Decatur while working toward black belt; he competes professionally, holding a 3-0 record in Fight to Win and competing in the Professional Grappling Federation. Adult no-gi classes run at midday and evening Monday to Friday, with a separate beginners' Fundamentals class twice a week and a monthly open mat.
