About SBG Idaho
SBG Idaho is the Boise branch of Straight Blast Gym, the network founded by Matt Thornton in Portland and now over 50 locations worldwide. It runs eight programmes — Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, judo, wrestling, MMA, the Growing Gorillas kids curriculum and fitness — for more than 650 active members, structured as a Foundations track that feeds into the Combat Athlete Program (CAP) and an MMA competition team. Coaching staff carry over 80 years of combined experience and all hold SBG Coaches Course certification; the facility includes a mat area, cage room, bag room and fitness room.
