About Spectre Jiu Jitsu
Spectre Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy at 201 N. Maple Grove Rd. in Boise, Idaho, founded in 2019 by Derek Newton, Jake Durbin and Thomas Erickson. It is an affiliate of Gustavo Rodrigues Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Salt Lake City, whose founder is a 4th-degree black belt who began training at Integracao Jiu Jitsu in Santos, Brazil under Master Elcio Figueiredo. The school lists four black belt instructors, headed by 2nd-degree black belt Derek Newton, and runs a kids' program alongside adult classes.
