About The Collective Jiu Jitsu Club

The Collective Jiu Jitsu Club at 5681 N Glenwood St in Garden City, Idaho was formerly Gracie Barra Boise and rebranded under the same owners and much of the same coaching staff, serving the Treasure Valley since 2018 as a family-owned academy. Head instructor and co-founder Professor Ray Morrow is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Otavio Sousa and Scott Carr, introduced to the art in 1999, who trained and developed instructors full-time at Gracie Barra Headquarters in Irvine, California and learned under Carlos Gracie Jr., Marcio Feitosa, Flavio Almeida, Vinicius 'Draculino' Magalhaes and Braulio Estima. The academy runs a structured beginner-friendly curriculum with a clear path from white to black belt and offers a free intro class.
