About Mudokwan
Mudokwan is a traditional Japanese martial arts school on E. Washington St in Indianapolis, founded in 1967 and one of the oldest dojos in the city. It teaches Japanese jujitsu, judo, kendo, iaido and kyudo, with every class overseen by founder Sensei Young Park, assisted by senior students and visiting instructors; kendo is taught by Sensei Hiro Imafuji, a 5th dan who began training at Shubukan in Itami City, Japan. Judo runs separate junior beginner, junior advanced and adult classes, and every session closes with ten minutes of Zen meditation.
