About Brazil Academy - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School
Brazil Academy USA on Strang Line Rd in Lenexa, Kansas was founded in 2010 by head professor and owner Ninja Pinto, who moved from Sao Paulo to teach martial arts and has taught professionally since 2000. The family-run school teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a ladies' jiu-jitsu programme, capoeira, Muay Thai and a 13+ bootcamp for adults, plus a kids programme for ages 4-15 spanning capoeira, jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai and a homeschoolers' leadership development track. Its faculty includes women's head coach Professor Morena, who has taught seminars in five countries, Professor Albino Mendes, a 36-fight professional Muay Thai veteran who represented Brazil at two WMF world championships, and Professor Nato, a 4th-degree BJJ black belt and 5th-dan kickboxing black belt. Classes run mornings and evenings by appointment, and the academy also serves Brazilian food and drink.
