About Alamut Combative Arts

Alamut Combative Arts in New Orleans teaches civilian self-defence rather than sport martial arts, blending Filipino martial arts, Muay Thai kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and tactical fundamentals. The curriculum covers empty-hand combatives, weapons defence and edged-weapon strategy, situational awareness, stress inoculation drills, and optional pistol fundamentals on a virtual simulator alongside concealed-carry mindset and legal considerations. Adults train in group classes — an Alamut Systems Kali group class at beginner and intermediate level on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings currently working through Panantukan (Filipino 'dirty boxing'), an Integrated Street Combatives class and a women's self-defence class — with private lessons available through the day. The school also runs women's self-defence seminars and corporate training events.
