About Royce Gracie Academy of Randallstown
The Royce Gracie Academy of Randallstown, founded in 2017 by Dr. Lamonte Tyler, is the area's exclusive Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu affiliate and teaches the RG360 curriculum — Royce Gracie's multi-level system following Grandmaster Helio Gracie's teaching, covering fundamentals through advanced plus self-defense, grappling, weapon defense, kids, law enforcement and military combatives. Alongside adult and kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a dedicated fundamentals programme it runs a judo programme with sparring and kata, and private lessons. Owner Dr. Lamonte Tyler holds multiple black belts, has an MMA record and is a combat veteran; his staff includes purple belt Perrice Austin and two of his own students, Tony M. Roberts and Tatiana Burgess, who each hold a BJJ blue belt and a judo brown belt under him.
