Ronin Martial Arts Academy in Grand Rapids, MI teaches Krav Maga, the Israeli Defense Forces' self-defense system, covering personal protection plus firearm, stick and knife defense, and conflict resolution under the banner 'Live - Protect - Inspire'. Ongoing classes run Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for ages 14 to 70, alongside a year-round seminar programme that includes pistol and rifle disarms, security escort tactics and a women's self-defense seminar. Head of the academy Craig Gray is a Krav Maga black belt instructor with over 35 years of experience whose defensive-tactics work is used by law enforcement, military and civilian organisations; five further instructors teach alongside him.
