About Bodega Jiu Jitsu

Bodega Jiu-Jitsu, founded in late 2022 in Maplewood, NJ (6 W Parker Ave), is a No-Gi only BJJ academy co-founded by Kyvann Gonzalez and Chas Makk. Kyvann is a black belt under Andy and Mike Main (lineage: Main brothers → Jamie Cruz → Renzo Gracie). Chas Makk is the first Bodega-minted black belt. The gym offers adult No-Gi BJJ and a newly opened Youth Jiu-Jitsu program, with a focus on modern, competitive grappling and personal growth.
