About Zahand's Martial Arts
Zahand's Martial Arts is a family-run dojo serving Akron, Cuyahoga Falls and Fairlawn, teaching traditional Shotokan Karate-do, Kodokan Judo and Seiei-kan Jiu-Jitsu. It runs preschool, beginner and intermediate/advanced kids, teen and adult classes, a Black Belt Club and tournament training class, and a Life Skills merit-badge and report-card programme. The school is led by the Zahand family: Hanshi Larry Zahand, a 9th-degree black belt with over four decades of training, with Doshi Matt Zahand as master instructor and head of the dojo.
