About True Art Jiu Jitsu
True Art Jiu Jitsu was founded in 2018 by Professor Shannon White, a black belt under 82-time IBJJF gold medalist Mark Vives, and trains at 2855 W Market St in Fairlawn, OH. The curriculum runs adult gi and no-gi from fundamentals to advanced, kids and teens from age 6, a beginners on-ramp, and an invitation-only competition team that competes with Tac Team BJJ at IBJJF and NAGA events. The academy claims more than 100 IBJJF gold medals and 200 student promotions, and lists IBJJF world champions and open champions among its members. Membership is month-to-month with no contract and the first class is free.
