About Gracie Barra Columbus - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Self Defense
Gracie Barra Columbus, in Dublin, Ohio, was opened in 2024 by Professor Fernando Amadeu and is the first Gracie Barra school in the state. Amadeu, a Brasília-born black belt and decorated IBJJF competitor, previously served as head instructor at Gracie Barra Albuquerque; he is joined by Professor Cauê, a black belt since 2016 who has taught since 2011 and worked with Brazil's Federal Highway Patrol special-operations units. The school teaches the standard Gracie Barra curriculum — GBK kids, GB1 fundamentals, GB2 advanced with no-gi, GB3 expert and the women-only GBF program.
