About Conan's Kick Boxing Karate
Conan's Academy is a kickboxing, boxing and karate school in Norman, Oklahoma, started in 1996 by Scott 'Conan' Mincey, a four-time world kickboxing champion. It teaches boxing and kids boxing, kickboxing including a women's class, American Tae Kwon Do and Kyokushin karate, Japanese Kito Ryu Jujitsu and MMA graded under Mincey's own 'Mincey Combat System', and it sponsors a competitive boxing team. The facility also has weightlifting and cardio areas. The jujitsu taught here is Japanese Kito Ryu, not Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
