About 10th Planet Bethlehem
10th Planet Bethlehem, trading as Finishers MMA HQ in the Lehigh Valley, was started in 2013 by Zach Maslany and teaches no-gi jiu-jitsu, MMA and kickboxing across two mats and a dedicated strength and conditioning room. The weekly schedule runs 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu at all-levels, advanced and fundamentals tiers, kids jiu-jitsu split 4-7 and 8-12, kids striking, striking fundamentals and advanced striking, MMA on Monday nights and Thursday sparring. Its staff is heavily credentialled: Maslany holds black belts in karate under Tiger Schulmann and in jiu-jitsu under Eddie Bravo; Jon Thor Blank has been top 25 pound-for-pound across all 10th Planet schools for three straight years and placed fourth at ADCC 2019; and head MMA coach Zack Makovsky is a former Bellator bantamweight champion and UFC top-five fighter. It is the headquarters of a group that also includes 10th Planet Allentown, 10th Planet Miami, 10th Planet Reading and Finishers North in Stroudsburg.
