About Charleston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy
Charleston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy opened in North Charleston, South Carolina in August 2025 as a Nova União school. Its adult BJJ runs from a student's first class to black belt and advanced competition: all-levels classes four evenings a week and on Saturday mornings, alongside separate beginners' fundamentals and drilling classes. Little Rhinos BJJ teaches kids and teens aged 5-15, and the academy also offers fitness and conditioning. Founder and head coach Nate Sisco is a black belt with 16 years on the mats, promoted by Danilo Cherman in the Nova União lineage, and the first class is free.
