Rushmore Jukite Ju-Jitsu in Rapid City, SD is a Japanese ju-jitsu school of self-defense that blends traditional Japanese martial arts with a modern military mindset, describing its curriculum as judo, aikido and karate in one. Classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays under dojo master Jeff Bauer, students train in a white gi from their second month, and the school ranks through to brown and black belt. Its competition team placed second overall as a school at the Sioux Falls Open for the second year running, with every entrant medalling. The first month of training is free.
