About Kioto Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Chattanooga

Kioto Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Chattanooga at 6211 Lee Hwy #236 teaches the Kioto system founded in 1965 by Grand Master Francisco Mansor, one of only 22 black belts promoted by Helio Gracie and one of just six from outside the Gracie family. Children start as young as three, split into Little Kioto Champs (3-5), a 50-minute class for ages 6-7 that works one-on-one with instructors, and a 60-minute class for 8-12 that builds leadership and ends in sparring. Adults and teens from 14 up train a beginner-focused fundamentals programme and general jiu-jitsu, with loaner gis washed between sessions and no pressure to spar early. The first week is free and a summer promotion offers beginner adult jiu-jitsu from $85 a month with no sign-up or cancellation fees.
