About Profectus Jiu-Jitsu Nashville
Profectus Jiu-Jitsu Nashville is the downtown location of the Profectus network, at 69 Lindsley Ave near Rolling Mill Hill, and membership unlocks all six Tennessee locations. Training is gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in four structured formats: a Foundations programme covering takedowns, pinning, escapes, submission defense and upper-body submissions; standard classes built around a skill-based warm-up, instruction and live training; Practice sessions that are 100% live positional games and drills; and semi-private small-group Coaching sessions for personalised feedback. Founder Professor Jeremy Akin has coached jiu-jitsu full time since 2006 and is a 4th-degree black belt, the first American to go from white to black belt under Master Luiz Palhares, whose own line runs through Rickson and Rolls Gracie back to Helio Gracie.
