BJJ in Colleyville

Colleyville holds one of the most significant affiliate anchors in all of DFW: **JJ Machado DFW**, the only Jean Jacques Machado affiliate in Texas. Head instructor Eric Acha is a 3rd-degree black belt under Master Jean Jacques Machado with 22+ years of training and 15 years of teaching; a retired California law enforcement officer (Brisbane PD, Redwood City PD, San Mateo County DA's Office) who relocated to DFW in 2021, Acha has since opened three locations under the JJM flag. The Colleyville location carries a deep coaching staff: Luke Hoffman (2nd-degree, 17 years BJJ, former MMA fighter), Ernesto Roco (2nd-degree, black belt under Allan Goes of Carlson Gracie lineage), Pete Sunday (black belt under Luis 'Limao' Heredia of Maui Jiu Jitsu), and Francisco Fraga (brown belt, retired California police/SWAT, active Navy Reservist).
