BJJ in Spring

Spring sits on the north side of the Houston metro and has five BJJ academies spanning Carlson Gracie (the "Carlson Gracie North Houston" location) and Gracie Barra The Woodlands (the area's flagship GB outpost), plus Torres Jiu-Jitsu & MMA from the Tooke / Travis Tooke lineage and a couple more independents.

Spring's location off I-45 makes it the natural home base for practitioners living in The Woodlands, Cypress, or northern Harris County. Most academies run kids programs and competition teams — Spring's BJJ density is unusually strong for a suburb, in part because The Woodlands' demographics support multiple full-service academies.
