608 Jiu Jitsu was founded in 2023 in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, serving Cross Plains, Middleton and the surrounding communities. It runs an adult programme in both gi and no-gi, Champions Jiu Jitsu for kids aged 5-12, a women's-only class, private lessons and a Saturday open mat, plus a judo programme led by black belt Shinya Nishizawa that adds throws and takedowns to the grappling curriculum. Founder and head instructor Joshua Archiquette began training in 2017, started coaching in 2021, and received his black belt from Wade Barden of Stronghold Jiu Jitsu in 2025.
