About Ronin BJJ
Ronin BJJ is a 3,000 square foot martial arts centre at 1175 State St in downtown New Haven, Connecticut, with a full strength and conditioning studio and showers. It blends traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with submission wrestling (no-gi), scholastic wrestling, judo and sambo, and also runs MMA, boxing and Muay Thai, kids classes and personal training. Head instructor Luis Figueroa is a 3rd degree black belt and IBJJF certified instructor under Luigi Mondelli of American Top Team, with over 50 top-three grappling finishes across a 15-year career, and is assisted by 2nd degree black belt Andrew Spinnato.
