About Gracie United Jiu-Jitsu | Baton Rouge
Gracie United Jiu-Jitsu Tiger Bend is the original Baton Rouge location of the school Steven and Piper Oubre opened on Tiger Bend Road in February 2017, and has been expanded with additional mat space since. Both owners are black belts and IBJJF medallists — Steven promoted by Rafael Ellwanger in April 2022, Piper in October 2023 — and both are school teachers by trade, which shapes the structured kids classes and the beginner-friendly adult sessions. Programs run Little Kids (4–7), Big Kids (8–13), Adults (14+), a women-only class offered at Tiger Bend only, a homeschool program, and Muay Thai under Coach Devon.
