About Syracuse Martial Arts Academy
Syracuse Martial Arts Academy has taught in Central New York since 1997 and is located inside Destiny USA in Syracuse. Its classes are Wing Chun, the Filipino weapons art Kali Escrima, grappling and sparring, taught as combative self-defense rather than point fighting, for students from every walk of life. Head instructor Sifu Anthony Iglesias has trained since 1979 across Isshin Ryu karate, Western boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Kali Escrima and White Crane kung fu before focusing on Traditional Wing Chun under Sifu Randall Segrue and SiGung William Cheung, and still trains monthly in New York City under Sifu John Crescione.
