About Saunders Brazilian Jiujitsu
Saunders Brazilian Jiujitsu takes a no-frills, fundamentals-first approach built on pressure, positional dominance and classic technique, running a small weekly schedule of gi and no-gi classes. It is taught by Kyle Saunders, a 4th-degree black belt under Roy Harris who began training with Carlos Machado in Dallas in 1995 and has been teaching since 1999. The school moved in January 2026 to Rougemont, in the Orange County part of the area a few miles north of Hillsborough, North Carolina. First class is free.
