About Munoz MMA Academy
Munoz Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Blanchard, Oklahoma began in a garage with three students and opened its doors in 2021 with more than 30. It teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in gi and no-gi, MMA, boxing and self-defense across kids, teens and adult classes, with a Wednesday curriculum class and open mats on Friday evening and Saturday morning, and organises itself around five core values: perseverance, self control, respect, humility and patience. Owner and head instructor Michael Munoz started training in 2002 aged six at Lovato's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Vale Tudo and received his black belt in 2024 from Rafael Lovato Sr.
