Frisco is anchored by one of the highest-pedigree affiliates in all of DFW: Gracie Barra Frisco, owned by Gabriel Arges — a 3x IBJJF World Champion under Romulo Barral and Carlos Gracie Jr. — making it among the most competition-decorated Gracie Barra owner-operators in the United States. Day-to-day instruction is led by Professor Rodrigo Magalhaes Cesario (black belt under Felipe Pena and Arges) and Professor Dionathan Santos (black belt under Flavio Almeida and Carlos Gracie Jr.). The academy runs a full Gracie Barra structured curriculum with gi, kids, women's, and beginner programs; a free trial class is available. Arges also owns a second GB location at Highland Village.
