Neighborhood Jiu Jitsu is a modern grappling academy in Salt Lake City running Fundamental and Advanced classes Monday through Thursday evenings, a no-gi wrestling class on Thursdays, a competition class, and open mat after every evening session plus Saturday mornings. Gi and no-gi alternate week to week, and the beginner curriculum is built to walk first-timers through simple positions at their own pace with loaner gis for the first week. Memberships are month-to-month or yearly with no joining fee, a punch pass is available for the uncommitted, and the first week is free.
