About Revolution BJJ
Revolution BJJ is a Richmond, Virginia academy on Staples Mill Rd teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and grappling, with more than 30 classes a week and several BJJ black belts on staff. It runs comprehensive introductory programmes for both BJJ and Muay Thai kickboxing, separate advanced classes, a kids BJJ programme where children pursue rank with no belt testing fees, a judo and wrestling wing, and a yoga programme. Tyler Smith, a second-degree BJJ black belt training there since 2008, heads the jiu-jitsu program; Kevin Santi, a black belt in both Kodokan judo and BJJ, heads the judo program; and Acie Bryan, a BJJ black belt with over 25 years of Muay Thai and a defensive tactics instructor for the Henrico Sheriff's Office, teaches the striking side.
