About Nomad Jiu Jitsu

Nomad Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing academy in Cheyenne, Wyoming, training six days a week across adult gi and no-gi classes split into fundamental/beginner and intermediate/advanced, kids' gi and no-gi, boxing and kickboxing. It was founded by Professor Matthew "Cano" Cano, a second-degree black belt promoted by Kenny Kim in January 2026 after taking his first degree under Kurt Osiander in 2023; the academy has been a Kenny Kim Jiu Jitsu affiliate since 2024. The facility runs to nearly 2,000 sq ft of mat space plus a dedicated boxing area with bags, a strength and conditioning zone with a squat rack and free weights, and an on-site infrared sauna.
